As there is a really awesome Greg Olsen calendar in our lounge room, it has recorded all the american holidays. So when we looked up whats going on next week in Planning, Anthony noticed that on monday it was Columbus day! and no, we did not decide to celebrate this american holiday. BUT! we did have a special dinner (just randomly, but we decided it would be a Columbus day special tea!) of pizza. Mmmmm the best:

Also, For all you creative cats out there, i scored this jumper a while ago from an op shop, and got to wear it very few times before the dreaded thing happened: my straightner nearly set it on fire! Luckily i woke in the night to the burning plastic smell and fixed it, but unfortunately my jumper now has a big ugly brown singe mark right on the front! I refuse to throw it out, so Im putting it out there for any ideas on how to fix it/ cover it. I tried in vain to wash it out, but that didnt work. Heres a picture , the singe is between the pockets:

So please! let me know of any ideas to salvage the situation! :)

So excited to finally have my licence! My first trip without paarental supervision was with Leia and kayla and we went to Westburys and Andys...we didnt buy anything we just sat and chatted with the missionaries. Then we drove all the way to the ETC and it was closed. It didnt really sink in until i had to drive myself home.... and then i was singing at the top of  my lungs and having the time of my life!!
But as i soon came to realise, sometimes freedom has its downfalls...

I did make it in the end... twenty minutes later... lol :) So guys moral of the story....ALWAYS take a street map where ever you go...and maybe get proper non-computer generated directions!! lol
