Peculiar Day: JP's, Old Books, Bugs, Naked men and Card Castles.

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

I have had many a peculiar day.
But none was so peculiar as this one a few weeks ago (ive just been lazy in blogging it)
The Day began with boredom:
Then progressed to quacking bugs that look like oversized flies:

Then it came to a shop called the Palace. Its pretty much amazing! and in there i found ...thats right antique books!!!!
Then after a trip fom the Justice of The Peace office to certify some copies, It was home time. Passing the Pub i see this (note the name Lorenzo Von Mattahorn...if anyone has seen How I Met Your Mother Episode :The Playbook....you will understand why this is HILARIOUS!):
I wore my new tennis shoes, so my feet were quite sore after all the walking:

Homeward bound, i walk back along the trail with the quaking bugs...only to find...a naked man.
The man had on only hiking boots, a cap and a massive grin. He was 40's hair-less and walking toward me fast. He proceeds to stop me to ask :'excuse me but is this a nudist trail/' to which i answered 'no it ISNT!' .Needless to say the naked man was deeply shocked and embarrassed and said 'its not?! oh ...uh....sorry' while i proceeded to quickly walk away from him.
(i did not get a picture of this for obvious reasons!)

So can anyone top that peculiar day? because i cant certainly say that this was the most peculiar of them all!

Ella's 3rd Birthday Party

Monday, January 3, 2011

So before the Terry's sped off for their holiday, we had Ella's 3rd Birthday bash at the bike center! it was so so much fun! Ive been Ella's flavour of the month for a while now and im just loving it! I just have so much fun playing with her, and she thinks of me as another one of her 3 year old friends rather than her 18y/o cousin. I dont mind in the slightest! Anyways, here is her birthday :

It was really fun, with minimum casualties :)

Mum even got in on the action acting as director lol

a fantastic day....right ella?
