This weekend, it was nice to get back to my basics.

Ive always been a bit arty, and i guess i took it for granted, as mentioned in a previous post, i left my paint brushes behind thinking i wouldnt need them, but i DO!

So this weekend, after a lovely visit to Kmart to acquire some water colours, i got back to my basics.

I was pleased to see, im not overly rusty at it.

Im quite proud!

Too Much Study.

Wishing study comprised of going outside.

But unfortunately ...it doesnt.

A 2000 word Literature Review on the American Bison due on Wednesday, so what do I do?

I slowley tear up a Unibooks reciept...

And glue the pieces down into shapes...

And border them with careful pencilling.

Extreme procrastination is one of my talents.

Also, Im in love with this blue nail polish!!

So for my birthday, my borders were super kind and gave me ...FLOWERS! :D

So this was the most beautifullest thing in my room for a while...just wanted to share it with you because its just so kind and one of the thoughtfullest things ive ever recieved...

And to my family who keeps asking....THIS is my new car ;)

SO... I have a habit of naming everything...

Previous car names have been Ugly Betty and Dodgey Dash...

But this car reminds me so much of Eve from WallE

That this car is called Eva! :D

So those are my blessings of late ...

Home away from Home.

Once I heard a young boy explain how he felt about this very special place.

I didnt realise how his words would become my own too.

'It just...it just feels like home you know?'

One of the very best things that I have the opportunity to do here every week..

Is to go inside and feel closer to home.

Life is full of surprises.

I left my paint brushes and art books at home when i moved, because i thought I woouldnt need them :).

How very surprised i was that Im missing them terribly!

I guess you just cant forget the things that you love that easily. :)
